GRANDchild Co-Founder C.J. Kirkland is from Freeport, Bahamas and, as everyone else did, witnessed the destruction brought by Hurricane Dorian. Thousands of residents on the northern islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama have lost everything. EVERYTHING.
The GRANDchild Foundation, our charitable arm, has arranged for the immediate collection of donations to help the estimated 70, 000 recently homeless Bahamian people who are in dire need of help as they struggle to survive the aftermath of Dorian's heartbreaking devastation.
Many people have reached out to us personally and asked how they can help. We have compiled a list of items that are desperately needed. While several major organizations are making valiant efforts to assist, we wanted to provide the opportunity to make a personal impact on the lives of individual victims of this tragedy.
We want to move as quickly as possible. If your heart leads you to give in this way, please follow the links provided or reach out to us directly for more information if needed. To those who have lost everything, anything is appreciated. Every effort is met with the utmost gratitude.
100% of all donations received will go directly to the Dorian survivors in The Bahamas.
Even if you are unable to contribute, please continue praying for The Bahamas and/or sending messages of encouragement online to those in the midst of this catastrophic event.
